FS#1132 - Arch version inconsistent
|
DetailsI noticed that upgrading initscripts changed the arch version on the bootup messages, but did not change it on the logon screen. After some looking around, I found that this is caused by the fact that the arch version the logon screen reads from is in /etc/arch-release, while it is also hard-coded into /etc/rc.sysinit . The version information should be consolidated to /etc/arch-release ONLY, and have rc.sysinit read the value in from that file, thus avoiding potential mixups.

This is normal for this part of our release cycle. Be patient and the version numbers will sync up soon.
