The minicom package (2.3-1) is broken. The md5sum doesn't match the tarball (it is the md5sum of the 2.2 tarball), the build script uses a hard coded source path to an old source directory, the patch included is outdated and no longer used, and the ncurses dependency is missing. Steps to reproduce: Try to makepkg with the current minicom PKGBUILD. Attached is an updated PKGBUILD that worked for me on i686. Note that minicom needs to be rebuilt with the new ncurses in testing. |
