Description:

[00000288] skins2 interface: skin: VLC 0.8.5 Default Skin author: aLtgLasS
Segmentation fault

Does not give anymore information than that upon selecting that interface. Should anyone have any method of obtaining more information, please let me know, and I will post said output here for bugtracking purposes. (This package has --enable-skins2)

The skin2 is labelled experimental forever afaik. We just build it because some people really want it and I don't mind it. It doesn't always work. IMHO, there is no point in fixing it since it is labelled experimental. We could also get rid of it. Problem soleved. But then with the next build it might work again.

Same here on 686. The problem seems to be the switching between interfaces not the interface itself. Starting with vlc -I skins2 works here. But now it crashes upon selecting wxgtk. :-/

that should be "resolved" as 0.9.0 is totally different
