Description:

Can not add gid option for vfat mounting for exemple in volume properties in Nautilus.

Additional info:
* hal 0.5.11-1



Steps to reproduce:

The problem is in /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20-storage-methods.fdi.
In the block
<!-- allow these mount options for vfat -->
<match key="volume.fstype" string="vfat">

there is no key allowing the gid= option:

<append key="volume.mount.valid_options" type="strlist">gid=</append>

Steps to reproduce:
Mount an usb volume.
Add mount option gid=<a group> in the volume properties in Nautilus.
unmount/mount volume.
Result: invalid mount option dialog.
Attended behavour: volume mounted with choosen group owner.

The whole point of mounting things with hal is that a user can mount something and access it with his own uid/gid. Hal is not meant to be used with gid= options. If you want it enabled, change it yourself.
