DetailsDescription: I have a 512MB usb stick which is 2048 bytes in a hardware sector. I use fdisk to partition it, then format it as a 512MB FAT32 successful. But use cfdisk to partition it, it create a invalid usb partition with 2G bytes.
Additional info: * package version(s) util-linux-ng 2.13.0.1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: 1. clean the partition by fdisk 2. use cfdisk to create full usb stick as a FAT32 partition. 3. use fdisk to look it, we'll found it is incorrect. By the way, the 2.14 of util-linux-ng has release for months, but seems nobody to upgrade it? |
