DetailsThe new jack package has an error in it's rc.d script. When I tried /etc/rc.d/jack-audio-connection-kit start, it gave me this error.
/etc/rc.d/jack-audio-connection-kit start /etc/rc.d/jack-audio-connection-kit: line 15: syntax error near unexpected token `fi' /etc/rc.d/jack-audio-connection-kit: line 15: ` fi' Removing the "fi" in line 15 fixed it. |

As for the second issue, I'm not able to reproduce that here. I will make a new package with the first two mentioned issues fixed but leave the bug open. Please test the new one and report here.
thanks, tobbi
Could you try to run the jackserver manually with the values like
jackd -d alsa -d hw:0 -p 1024 and stop it with Ctrl-C
thanks tobbi
