DetailsDescription:
Audio will stutter during playback. Additional info: * package version(s) catalyst 8.7-2 kernel26 2.6.26.2-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Play audio while scrolling on a webpage in Firefox or just under quick browsing/page loads. If I downgrade the two packages I listed the problem goes away. I'm searching for a link I found through google that I mentioned this problem being with the version of X that the driver is built against. I will post when I find it. |

I don't think so, and it doesn't happen when I downgrade the packages. It's also not a "heavy load" comparatively (my CPU is by no means maxed out).

Assigned to kernel developers, this is not a firefox problem but either a kernel problem or something with the binary blob driver.

This problem is gone in Catalyst/Catalyst-Utils 8.8.
