Details

Description:
Community package "griffith 0.9.7.1-1" on x86_64 architecture creates a symlink pointing to an incorrect program location. Instead of pointing to the default installation directory (/usr/share/griffith/lib/griffith), the symlink points to the install directory used on the packager's machine, as shown below.

$ ls -l /usr/bin/griffith
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 78 2008-07-29 04:45 /usr/bin/griffith -> /home/ronald/community/multimedia/griffith/pkg/usr/share/griffith/lib/griffith

Steps to reproduce:
Install community package "griffith 0.9.7.1-1" on x86_64 architecture.


Temporary solution:
# rm /usr/bin/griffith && ln -s /usr/share/griffith/lib/griffith /usr/bin/griffith
