Please apply the appended diff to /etc/rc.d/network.
Reasoning: 1) With the cache dhcpcd will ask the dhcp server to reassign the (possibly old) IP address therein - and my ISP does not like that. 2) Without the cache the dhcp server often assigns the IP address it previously assigned to the MAC address. 3) Without the "-t n" dhcpcd will wait for a ridiculously long time when the dhcp server is not reachable. |
