DetailsDescription:
The web interface for CUPS is not accessible with version 1.3.8-1; trying to access it gets a blank page. Additional info: * cups 1.3.8-1 Steps to reproduce: 1. Install and set up CUPS. 2. Open a browser window and go to the address "localhost:631". This should be the CUPS configuration page, but it will be blank. |
This task depends upon
Is cupsd running? => ps ax | grep cups
Is it listening? => netstat -ln | grep 631
If running and listening, try getting index page with wget:
wget http://localhost:631
If wget fails try it with higher log and debug levels.
