Description:
Many GTK apps crash when opening a file chooser and report the following in a terminal:
GLib-GObject-ERROR **: g_type_plugin_*() invalidly modified type `GThemedIcon'

Additional info:
* Affected packages: glib2 2.16.3-1 from [core]
* Affects all packages that use the standard GTK+ file chooser.

Steps to reproduce:
* Open any GNOME app and attempt to open/save a file. Randomly, the app will crash when the file chooser should appear. This is not very predictable but happens with evince, eye-of-gnome and firefox on my machine.

Fix:
A patch from the openSuse bugzilla is attached:

Its already been fixed upstream http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=537555 . Glib2 has already been updated for i686. Its just a matter of updating it for x86_64 which im sure JGC will do soon. IMO you had better flagged it out of date.

Cool. It would seem the package has already been flagged out of date.
