DetailsI was fixing a bunch of my packages without updating the pkgrel because the changes wouldn't actually change anything to the resulting packages... however when I uploaded them it didn't update the packages in the AUR db.
I suggest that either A) update the package even though pkgver/pkgrel is the same or B) tell the user something like this: "The package already exists with the same pkgver/pkgrel. Please bump the pkgrel before uploading." |

Additional comments about closing: Closing it now. Please don't open this again unless you have PKGBUILDs for testing. At the moment all the information we have is an error message and "this happened to me".

Infact, when you submit a package it flush out old data that will be replaced with new data.
