I think its a bug with miro. I remember JGC saying that xulrunner
1.8 is not compatible with 1.9. Consider making a bug report
upstream. As there is a new miro version out though, you might
wanna try this one first.

Also a couple gmusicbrowser's plugins are broken because of this.
It seems the mozilla guys are to blame, but there's no sure news
at the moment.

Miro that isn't working is a bug in miro itself, as miro is
supposed to work with xulrunner 1.9. As for all the other things:
Xulrunner had a complete redesign where libgtkmozembed.so isn't
the main thing anymore, it's libxul or libxul-embedding now.
Applications that can't work or can't get patched to support
xulrunner 1.9 can use Seamonkey 1.1.9 for now, as that one
contains an integrated gecko 1.8 runtime with all its
includefiles.
