Description:
Since last x264 update, vlc crash with message :
> vlc: error while loading shared libraries: libx264.so.57: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
> zsh: exit 127 vlc

Avidemux needs to be recompiled, too: it conflicts with the x264 version in testing.

I tried to edit the pkgbuild of avidemux for the latest x264, and it failed citing that it was trying to install ffmpeg and x264, did, but the crap couldn't be found. The most obscure thing ever.

However, a temporary workaround if you do not wish to recompile is to make a symbolic link. I did:

sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libx264.so.60 /usr/lib/libx264.so.57 (as it is looking for libx264.so.57) and it works.
