I was just wondering if it was possible to get an Xinput enabled xserver as I don't know if the points outlined in the mailing list thread:
http://archlinux.org/pipermail/arch-dev-public/2008-March/005248.html

are correct anymore, atleast for me, everything is working correctly with a cordless (norwegian keymap) keyboard and an usb mouse and i was just wondering if it worked correctly for other people aswell(in that case chime in) in which case we could perhaps enable the Xinput goodness again!

For those who want to try see:wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Xorg_input_hotplugging and perhaps try the most recent xserver..

The advantages of which not mentioned in the mailing list thread that I experience is I now get "keyboard focus" in many apps in wine which i didn't get before and it seems i don't get the keyboard glitches that i used to...

Not to mention you don't have to know the right xorg.conf cmds.

We won't implement input hotplugging for 1.4, we'll try again when 1.5 is released.
