DetailsDescription: There are two different versions of tikz.code.tex in texlive-core-svn 2007.7194-1. One is located in /opt/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/frontendlayer the other one in /opt/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/frontendlayer/tikz . The one in frontendlayer seems to be old. Tikz ceases to work, until you remove it.
Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: Prepare a latex file, test.tex: \documentclass{article} \usepackage{tikz} \begin{document} \begin{tikzpicture} \node[draw] {Foo}; \end{tikzpicture} \end{document} Try pdflatex test.tex it will fail with the following error: (/opt/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/libraries/pgflibraryplothandlers.code. tex) ! Undefined control sequence. l.894 \pgfsetsnakesegmenttransformation {\pgf@snake@mirror\pgf@snake@raise} rename /opt/texlive/texmf-dist/tex/generic/pgf/frontendlayer/tikz.code.tex to tikz.code.tex~ try pdflatex test.tex again. The document will be created without an error. |
