DetailsThere's example error message:
ERROR: Failed to parse the following modeline of display device 0x00000001 'Iiyama PLE2003WS' connected to GPU-0 'GeForce 6800 XT': source=edid :: "nvidia-auto-select" 119.000 1680 1728 1760 1840 1050 1053 1059 1080 +HSync -VSync it's unable to set resolution at all so it hurts a bit when someone use nvidia-settings instead of other ways to switch resolution... fortunately LC_ALL=C fix this, there is patch from nvidia that will be included in next release: http://cgit.freedesktop.org/~aplattner/nvidia-settings/commit/?id=89e149a1c5f497b6a841e334ccc90755e6a721b4 (it's mentioned there: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=113934 ) - it would be great to include it in package before next driver release because there is some time between releases cheers, Andrzej. |
