Description:

gnome-user-share should depend on apache, because otherwise it wouldn't function... The readme of gnome-user-share says:

###############################################################
...The dav server used is apache, so you need that installed...
###############################################################

Additional info:
* package version(s): 0.31-1

Furthermore I had to recompile it myself with ABS to work with apache 2.2.8 ... maybe it was compiled with apache 1.3

It probably only needs httpd when you actually use DAV, right? Thereforce people can install httpd if they actually use this functionality. If they don't it's a useless bloat dep.

If they don't use DAV, gnome-user-share isn't really useful, isn't it? That's the main functionality, or did I miss something??

I did install apache, but I had to recompile it because gnome-user-share didn't find httpd...

So, if it's not a dependency, there should be a message after the installation of gnome-user-share, so that users know what to install if they want to use DAV with that package: apache13/apache or other http daemons.
