It took me quite a while to figure out why libtoolize wouldn't do a simple copy, until I looked through the script and realized it uses tar for copying stuff... Additional info: libtool 2.2.4 Steps to reproduce: Uninstall tar and try to make libtoolize copy something :P |

Tar is in base, users should have it installed..
i've added "tar" to the depends in our svn. no need to fix the
current pkg. everybody who removes core packages should know what
he does. though next update will have it in.
