DetailsNot sure if this is a problem with licences, but totem is not licenced under the standard GPL2. The gstreamer version has a clause stipulating that non-free codecs can be used with it (see the end of: http://svn.gnome.org/viewvc/totem/trunk/COPYING?view=markup ), whereas the package states that the licence of totem is 'GPL'.
(Also according to that file part of the package is also LGPL, though I think that's only in the 2.23 version) |
