dbus is not a dependency for hal daemon, but I can't start hal without starting dbus before. It halts for a long time before failure and does not give a clue why it failed. Then networkmanager doesn't work, etc... Additional info: * package version(s) extra/hal 0.5.11-1 * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: stop dbus and kill all dbus processes start hal daemon |
