OK i thought that worked but it turns out it didnt. Even if compiled with -fPIC snownews doesnt mark feeds as read. I wonder why it happens though. I tried contacting the developer about it a month ago but he still hasnt mailed me back.

I dont know if this report could be considered valid. I am only leaving it open in case someone knows a way to solve it. My way didnt work.
