Description:
After doin' the last kernel's upgrade to: 2.6.25.4-1
Wireless connections using wpa_supplicant cease to work, viewing the log files an error repeats:
iwl4965: Error sending REPLY_RXON_ASSOC: Already sending a host command.


Steps to reproduce:
ifconfig wlan0 up
iwconfig wlan0 essid ssid_s_name
wpa_supplicant -i wlan0 -w -D wext -c /etc/wpa_supplicant.conf -B

May be related to  FS#10442 , otherwise I have no idea what's wrong here. Have you tried compat-wireless?

i do not think so, because sometimes i can actually authenticate and get a wireless connection, but rarely.

this's happenin' since da kernel upgrade

i've solved the problem using the compat-wireless project drivers.

It seems that Intel screwed up the iwl4965 driver in 2.6.25, but you are the first to solve the problem by using compat-wireless (the other bugs persist even with compat-wireless).
