Using gnash with firefox it plays videos from youtube.com, but very slow, sometimes just the sound is played or isn't in sync with video.

If firefox is started from console I get the same output.

You used gnash from console (without a browser) to play videos from youtube, right?
If so, what's the command for doing this? - I could not figure it out...

I'm just using the embedded player. To get the console output I start the browser from the console.

Um, wait a sec. Didn't youtube just change to flash 7 or 8, and gnash only supports up to flash 6?

I don't know. Just installed gnash to see if I get the same problems like withheld reported. Normaly I use flashplugin.

This seems to be an upstream bug... Funny, Gnash used to work fine with Youtube.

No longer upstreamer; 0.8.4 should be able to handle Youtube, but doesn't.

Is anyone able to confirm this bug? Last time I checked gnash is working fine with youtube.
