When doing a full system upgrade or when updating the package gpm, the error message is thrown: (143/143) checking for file conflicts [#####################] 100% error: could not prepare transaction error: failed to commit transaction (conflicting files) gpm: /usr/lib/libgpm.so.1 exists in filesystem Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded. Additional info: * package version(s) from: gpm-1.20.1-7 to: gpm-1.20.3-1-i686 (using pacman) Steps to reproduce: try to update the package (I have two confirmed instances of this on two separate machines - one of them was a completely fresh install) |
