According to the virtualbox wiki page:
"Currently VirtualBox relies on qt3 to function. Ensure you have qt3 installed (it is not a dependency for some reason) by doing:"

Probably just an oversight. An easy fix at least.

[root@Muspelheimr ~]# pacman -Si virtualbox-ose | grep Depends -A 1
Depends On : gcc-libs virtualbox-modules hal libxcursor e2fsprogs

Please read the post_install message:

you could use VirtualBox from command line, thus qt3 isn't required.
