I've had many crashes in mozilla, mozilla-firefox, galeon and epiphany lately. Recompiling the packages and such didn't help, mozilla and firefox kept crashing. Only when run as root they don't crash.

After downgrading many libs, freetype 2.1.7 did the trick for me.

I haven't been able to reproduce it yet, but I'm running 2.1.9 on a few boxes, so it should come up.

anyone else see this problem?

What I tried:
- upgrading fontconfig to 2.2.2 (yes, that's a stable release ;)), crashes too. Installing that fontconfig on top of freetype2 2.1.7 gives the same problem
- rebuilding pango and mozilla against freetype 2.1.9, also crashes on the bugtracker

I'll try on my laptop, that thing runs everything that can and will be unstable (testing, gnome25 and gnome27 repositories :P), if that one doesn't crash, I'm almost sure it's something wrong in my system.

Removed freetype2 from testing. The next --sysupgrade should pull Current's 2.1.7 now.
