File /etc/xdg/menus/applications.menu should be provided by other package and gnome-menus should required this package. This way others packages would easy provides alternative applications.menu. For example: gnome-menu-extended (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=10803) must do some tricks on install now, to swap applications.menu, and always after upgrade gnome-menus users must install gnome-menu-extended again. |
