The current version of sudo seems to be missing a dependency on vi.

According to the PKGBUILD in abs, sudo is compiled --with-editor=/usr/bin/vi.

There are probably two easy solutions to this: change the PKGBUILD so that it compiles --with-env-editor, as per  FS#8602 , or add vi as a dependency.

Other info:
daenyth@Muspelheimr ~ $ finddep sudo
sudo
glibc
sh is required but cannot be found. It is probably provided by another package
attr
kernel-headers
tzdata
pam
db
gcc-libs
coreutils
shadow
cracklib

finddep is included as an attachment. (If anyone has any suggestions, etc, refer to  FS#2454  )
   finddep (1.1 KiB)

Woops, I mis-filed. Should have been under Packages: Core

I don't like vi as the dependency for sudo. It's not necessary.

I don't like it either, but that's how the PKGBUILD is currently written. Compiling --with-env-editor instead would be highly preferred, at least by me.

I think we should compile with --with-env-editor as is suggested in the comments
