Details

I would like to submit new kde4 stable packages for version 4.0.3, but at AUR the names are used for a old beta package. What should I do?

PS: I only use Arch for a week. So, newbie!

The correct way to handle these kind of requests would be sending a mail to the aur-general mailing list including why you want a package to be orphaned.

For now I have orphaned the kde4 packages in AUR as the user is clearly not active maintaining these packages. You can reopen this bug if I forgot some packages including the names of the packages.
