Description:

Kdevelop is freezing when trying to "linking..." and eats up all memory with a loop of errors. This happens with any C/C++ project that I try to compile. This was not happenning in the previous version.

Create a new C/C++ empty project and try to compile.

Could you possibly attach some of the "loop of errors" the program spits out?

This must be a duplicate indeed, but I don't know how to change the libtools version to test it.
This is what it spits out for me, repeating the last 5 lines over and over:
