I confirm this bug : http://archlinux.org/packages/files/5756/
This is a very common shell mistake that we all fall in every day with filenames with spaces in it.
The following lines
mkdir -p $startdir/pkg/usr/share/themes/$i/
mv gtk-2.0 $startdir/pkg/usr/share/themes/$i/
Should be replaced by
mkdir -p "$startdir/pkg/usr/share/themes/$i"
mv gtk-2.0 "$startdir/pkg/usr/share/themes/$i"
Also notice that this PKGBUILD moves directories out of the src directory. This is not the Arch approach since it will break the "makepkg --noextract" usage ...
"mv" should be replaced by "cp" or, even better, "install".
I hope it helped !
