The version of boost in the current extra repository is 1.34.1. 1.35.0 was released not long ago. Also the URL listed in the package is http://boost.sourceforge.net, while the correct URL should be http://www.boost.org. The former site is outdated.

Hello,

Asking for a package update is not a bug but a feature request.

Boost released only a few weeks ago a new website : http://www.boost.org/users/news/website_1_0_launch. And most of the links on sourceforge are redirected to this new website. Do we really need a bug report for this, can't you give a chance to the package maintainer to update this info in the next release ?

I any case, this package has already been flagged out of date (the maintainer receive an email) here : http://archlinux.org/packages/search/?q=boost. There is no need at opening a bug report in addition.

Ignoring your rhetorical question, I did not notice a place to flag a package out of date. Now I see where it is. The point of the report was to flag it as out of date, and it was clearly the wrong place to do it. My mistake.
