The bzr package's version is shown in pacman -Si bzr as 1.3-1.1, but when updated with pacman -Syu the local version remains 1.3-1. This makes pacman prompt for a bzr update with pacman -Su over and over because after installation the package is still an older version. Additional info: Arch Linux x86_64 Steps to reproduce: pacman -Syu pacman -Su pacman -Su pacmna -Su etc... |
This task depends upon
pkgver=1.3
pkgrel=1.1
While it is suppose to be:
pkgver=1.3.1
pkgrel=1
Edit the PKGBUILD, rebuilt and install the package again fix the problem.
