DetailsDescription:
My rc.conf file has "America/Sao Paulo" configured as time zone. Since it has a space in its name, I think this line from rc.shutdown should enclose it in quotes: /etc/rc.shutdown (original): if [ "$TIMEZONE" != "" -a -e /usr/share/zoneinfo/$TIMEZONE ]; then /bin/rm -f /etc/localtime /bin/cp /usr/share/zoneinfo/$TIMEZONE /etc/localtime So I think it should be like: if [ "$TIMEZONE" != "" -a -e "/usr/share/zoneinfo/$TIMEZONE" ]; then /bin/rm -f /etc/localtime /bin/cp "/usr/share/zoneinfo/$TIMEZONE" /etc/localtime (there has been a recent change in rc.sysinit that added quotes to the time zone) I have attached a patch for these changes. Steps to reproduce: In rc.conf, configure a time zone that has a space in its name, then shutdown your system. An error message appears. |
