Description:
I am using gnome 2.22 with tracker search. I updated my system and it updated tracker to 0.6.6-2 but now when I login to gnome it gets stuck at the splash screen.

I then downgraded to tracker 0.6.6-1 now gnome works fine.
I then tried to uninstall tracker and installed beagle, I faced the same problem.

So, I am now using tracker 0.6.6-1.

Could you please remove tracker-0.6.6-1 and then reinstall tracker-0.6.6-2 AND libtracker-0.6.6-1.

Strange, I can't reproduce it. Someone on the forum has the same problem:

Was there a /usr/lib/libtrackerclient.so.0.0.0 after you had reinstalled tracker-0.6.6-2 and libtracker-0.6.6-1?

I am using openbox now and tracker seems to work fine here but sometimes the tracker applet crashes when I right click on the applet and change some preferences.
