DetailsDescription:
After yesterdays update, Eclipse crashes the JVM every time a file is opened or a new file is created. The issue only effects x86_64 as my two other Arch x86 computers are unaffected by this issue. The bug seems to be related to gtk2-2.12.9.1 as reverting gtk2 back to 2.12.8-1 resolves issue. log attached. Steps to reproduce: 1) Upgrade to gtk2-2.12.9.1 2) Open eclipse (crashes if you left any files open). 3) Open a file. Crash reproducible with: - Eclipse 3.3.1.1-1 (from extra) - Eclipse-SDK-3.3.2-linux-gtk - Eclipse-java-europa-winter-linux-gtk Gentoo users have also reported/patched this bug: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=215318 |
