DetailsDescription:
Permission in package files are wrong. As a result tuxmath can only be runned as root. Also some directories in package have the set group ID in execution (e.g. /usr/share/tuxmath/sounds/). Probably that's not necessary. Another minor problem: packager left CVS files around. Not sure if these bugs apply also to i686 version. Additional info: * package version: tuxmath 2001.09.07-2 Steps to reproduce: # pacman -R tuxmath # pacman -Sy tuxmath $ tuxmath Error: I couldn't load a music file: /usr/share/tuxmath//sounds/game.mod The Simple DirectMedia error that occured was: Couldn't read from '/usr/share/tuxmath//sounds/game.mod' $ ls -l /usr/share/tuxmath//sounds/game.mod -rw------- 1 root root 143028 26 mar 2007 /usr/share/tuxmath//sounds/game.mod there is the same problem with game2.mod and game3.mod Run: $ tar ztvf /var/cache/pacman/pkg/tuxmath-2001.09.07-2.pkg.tar.gz | less to see where other minor problems are. |
