works like a charm here

Actually after further review I find the numlock led not lit but the number pad actually working. When I press the numlock button the led lites and the numbers quit working and visa-versa. When I run "numlockx off" the numlock works normally.

Yup, same problem here - numlockx does not seem to sych with the keyboard numlock LED. Running program from command line will turn numlock on/off, but the LED does not reflect the actual status.

Is this still a problem with xorg-server 1.4.0.90-10 from testing?

xorg-server has been bumped in extra to 1.4.0.90-13. Does the problem still occur?
