01-touchpad.rules was created by me after the problem was detected and fixed by reverting to the old 50-udev-default.rules. It contains http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Synaptics#Disabling_touchpad_on_plugged_in_mouse

please confirm if fixed in udev-119 from testing

is this still an issue with udev-119?

I think it was fixed assuming the file was overwritten. Sorry for the delay; I was in the mountains for 3 days.
