Hi there,
fedora is currently improving Xorg performance with some simple patches to remove unneeded delays etc. More info can be found here: http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Features/OneSecondX So why not use this stuff in Arch too :) The patches are _very_ simple and should be easy to maintain. I have attached two tarballs with PKGBUILDs for xf86-input-keyboard and xf86-input-mouse which contain these patches, and they are working fine for me... There is also another patch for xf86-video-ati, but i havent tested it as i dont own an ATI card... I guess the first two patches are pretty safe, but try for yourself :) Greetings Jan |
