Because of conflicts between xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-i810, as well as between xf86-video-via and xf86-video-unichrome, it is no longer possible to install all drivers using the group (pacman -S xorg-video-drivers).

As this is sometimes a useful abbreviation, I was wondering whether there would be any chance of making some reasonable compromise so that it works again, e.g. only including one of each pair in the group.

I know, in the case of i810 and intel, intel is the preferred driver and i810 is deprecated.

I don't know about via and unichrome.

This will get fixed with the next xf86-video-intel/i810 releases, which will have the DRI drivers split out into an intel-dri package, just like we did with unichrome-dri.

Intel/i810 has been fixed, unichrome and via are still conflicting.
