Description:
gdb should be a dependency for Anjuta IDE.

Additional info:
* package version(s) anjuta-2.2.1-1
* config and/or log files etc.

Steps to reproduce:
Install Anjuta without gdb and try to use the debug function. I didn't have gdb installed prior to installing Anjuta, and as soon as I clicked the "Debug" drop down menu, then clicked the "Run Target" menu item, Anjuta crashed. After some research, discovered Anjuta uses gdb for it's debug feature, and it wasn't installed. Installed gdb and debug works. Gdb should be added as a dependency for Anjuta.

Thanks

Reason for closing:  Not a bug
Additional comments about closing:  gdb is one of many optional dependencies. we only use essential deps. see Arch packaging standards. and it's easy to pacman -S gdb if you want that feature.

Forgot to add that this is true for both the i686 version and the X86_64 version of Arch.

anjuta could also depend on the base-devel group.
