Description:
X will crash bringing the whole system down with it when using EXA and attempting to start compiz (or other compositing manager probably). The problem seems to be caused by the patch xorg-x11-server-1.1.1-offscreen-pixmaps.patch as I have removed this patch and recompiled (xorg-server 1.3 from testing) and the problem goes away. It is possibly due to the patch calling XAA functions without seeming to check if it's active or even loaded. This is on a macbook using the xf86-video-intel driver. Additional info: * package version(s) * config and/or log files etc. Steps to reproduce: |
