Details
Intel provides a patch to make Firefox less active when
visiting a black/static page. You can find the patch
here:

Reason for closing: Won't implement
Additional comments about closing: This patch fixes some code that isn't even in 2.11 yet. There's a patch in bugzilla that wrecks out EThread, the patch from linuxpowertop.org is against that patch. I won't apply this for 2.10, I'll have it in 2.11 for the next gnome series instead.
