Detailswell, I installed BootCamp on my new macbook black core 2 duo, I partitioned the hd, I installed rEFIt as I read in many wikis.
when I try to boot the latest arch 0.8 alpha iso it hangs after printing "Loading stage2 .... " It seems to be a grub problem, maybe can be solved patching grub with this patchset: http://ftp.debian.org/debian/pool/main/g/grub/grub_0.97-20.diff.gz (there is a patch named "intelmac.diff") If I'll find free time, I'll try patching it by myself and test the iso. (I bought this notebook for running Arch, not macox) |
