Could you please consider adding the --enable-password-save to the ./configure in the openvpn PKGBUILD.

When enabled using the configuration directive 'auth-user-pass <filename>', the username and password for an openvpn connection can be stored in a file, and connection can occur non-interactively. This does not affect certificate-authenticated connections, only those authenticated with a username/password pair.
