Since teTeX is dead and TeXLive is now part of the community repositories, doesn't this package: http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?do_Details=1&ID=12926&K=texlive-langcjk provide the feature asked for?

It seems to be that it would be better to adopt the texlive-packages into extra rather than updating the package for a dead application where there are replacements (even the teTeX author suggests moving to TeXLive).
