Apache throws out a lot of garbage in /var/log/httpd/error_log complaining about dbd function not implemented.

the same here I had to comment lines :
#LoadModule authn_dbd_module modules/mod_authn_dbd.so
#LoadModule dbd_module modules/mod_dbd.so

By default dbd module is loaded but not configured in apache. At least a default configuration should be in httpd.conf. Dunno if it's possible.

To Judd Vinet: if possible, default dbd config should be made in httpd.conf. Otherwise this bug may be closed.

Just disabling the module by default will do, users that would need it will know how to enable it
