Middle-clicking in konqueror broke after upgrading to
kdebase 3.5.4-5. Nothing happens when I do a middle-click on
a folder/link and it's impossible to paste text using the
mouse wheel button. I have only found this problem in
konqueror. Other KDE apps like konsole and kwrite work fine.
Reverting to kdebase 3.5.4-4 fixes this for me.

I just figured this only happens if mouse gestures are mapped to
the wheel button (button 2). Disabling gestures or changing them
to the right mouse button (button 3) resolves the problem. Still,
my RMB is kinda borked so I really want those gestures accessible
through the wheel button :P
I have the same problem, but with the right button (as I have
mouse gestures assigned to that button). A weird thing is that if
the focus is in another window and I right-click konqueror's
window it works. I can confirm that downgrading to 3.5-4-4 fixes
the problem.
kdebase-3.5.4-6 shows the same problem.
I'd like to report similiar behaviour. My gestures are mapped to
the right button, and right click fails for everything else. When
I map to middle button, middle click fails for everything else.
Disabling gestures fixes the problem. This is with
kdebase-3.5.4-5/6.
It seems to work when you have Control, Shift, or AltGr pressed.
A simple recompile seems to have fixed the issue here. Can anyone
confirm this?
kdebase-3.5.5-3 has the problem. Once again, a simple recompile of
the package, solved it.
kdebase-3.5.5-4 works fine without recompiling.
